Howard Perkins recorded this RARE gem on the Portsmouth based SHAWNEE record label. Along with his Kountry Kinfolk, Howard does a cool rockabilly number titled "Lovin' Baby" backed with an equally good country bopper. Released in 1960..

Thank you for putting up this web page. I have been looking for recording of my grandfather Howard Perkins work. I am trying to find more of the songs like Johnnt Overload and the one about a burgler man he used to sing to us.

Ok I was able to get some more of my Grandfathers music. It turns out my uncle David had some of it. If you would like to post some of it I would be happy to send you a cd. or e-mail it to you.
By the way according to my Father and uncle if anyone is selling the music they really should not, my Grand Father always would say if somebody wanted to sing his songs he was glad for them to do it. According to Howard Perkins music was for listen'n the way the good Lord intended so it should be for free. I know he would be glad it's on the internet for people to enjoy.
