THE SQUIRES : YOUNGSTOWN

One would have to look long & hard for this 45rpm. Circa 1966 on the PENQUIN label comes The Squires. Featuring a very young Phil Keaggy on guitar!

I am doing a research paper on Phil Keaggy and it would be both very helpful and interesting for more information about The Squires. Thanks

Here's what I found on The Squires:
They were a four member band, Phil Keaggy was one of the two guitarists. The 45 was done
at Cleveland Recording and released on the Penguin label, named after the Youngstown State College mascot. The band recorded about 7 other songs
at WAM and CRC but seem to be "unreleased" at this time. That's about all I could dig up.
