THE LOVECHAIN : CANTON

Not a whole lot of info on this, the only release from The LoveChain. I have read that the band may have been from Dover or New Philedelphia, but let's say Canton as that's where the WESTWOOD label is from. Released in 1969.

This was Bob Airgood, Elmer Meese, Chuck Snyder, Joe Snyder, and Mike Henry. Band based out of Dover Ohio. Song came from Mike Millius and Don Thomas out of New York and B side was written by Lovechain. I was drummer on this.

This brings back good memories of Lovechain. My brother Elmer was in this band. I remember the group playing it. Awesome!

The original score mentioned above had one vocalist. It was introduced to us by our manager. After hearing it, we put 4-part harmony to the same score(which I thought had a better sound). The manager however felt it better to put our own music to it.
This was recorded in the fall & winter of 1968-69 @ Bradtke Recording Studio on West Tuscarwas Street in Canton, Ohio. The "B" side of the Westwood Label was "Sadness on My Mind" written by Bob Airgood.
Band Members:
Lead Guitar/Vocals: Bob Airgood
Rhythm Guitar/Vocals: Elmer Meese
Bass Guitar/Vocals: Charlie Snyder
Keyboard/Vocals: Joe Snyder
Drums: Mike Henry
Band members were from New Philadelphia, Sugarcreek, & Dover, Ohio. ---Joe Snyder
