I can't find much info on The Possums only that they were featured on the highly valued and sought-after compilation Hillside '66, performing "She Don't Care About Time" and "Stepping Stone". "Stepping Stone", featured here, was of course released by The Monkees. This cut came from the later released Highs In The Mid Sixties, Vol. 9 (LP) mentioned in other posts.

Not alot of information can be found on The Deadlys only that this cut appeared on the Hillside sampler LP showcasing other bands from the city that gave us White Castle & Wendys. THE DANTES : COLUMBUS
The Dantes were a local favorite in the early/mid '60s around Columbus. The band consisted of Barry Hayden lead vocals, Joe Hinton drums, Carter Holliday bass, Lynn Wehr guitar and Dave Workman lead guitar. This is the A-side of their first single released in 1966 on the JAMIE label.
